MEET Mark Williams
Mark Williams writes with a cat in his lap and a dog within view. When he is not writing, he is either putting ice chips in a water bowl, recycling cat food cans, or watching his wife, DeeGee, fill feeders with birdseed. Animals make their way into many of Mark's stories—Buster the beagle, Helen a lap pig, Noa the rosy boa, and Howdy a pit bull, among others. In the case of his story, Mars Arrow-Maker, there were too many squirrels to name. But if given a chance—Earl? Merle? Pearl?
