Ryan McFadden

Ryan lives in Berkeley, California, with his wife and two sons. By day, he’s a tech writer for SaaS startups all over the San Francisco Bay Area. At night and on weekends, he crafts his own stories. He has an MFA in fiction from CCA, and his stories have appeared in several print and web publications. His nonfiction essay “What is Left” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and indexed among the ‘Notable essays and literary nonfiction of 2019’ in the “Best American Essays, 2020.” He’s currently neck-deep in writing his first novel.
